Process Design for CATIA I & II

The training Process Design for CATIA I (3 days training) provides the knowledge and skills to effectively use the functions of AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA to generate machineable surfaces as well as other geometry for a draw and/or trim operation. The user learns how to complete the individual subtasks of process plan generation with a tailor-made and highly user-friendly software.

In the training Process Design for CATIA II (2 days training) the application of the learned individual functions is introduced. This training outlines a methodical approach of applying these functions to specific die face creation tasks. This will allow the user to focus on the methodology as well as concentrate on making formability and processing decisions, not the individual functions of the software.

After this training, the user is able to more efficiently accomplish die process design tasks in CATIA V5 using AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA. The user controls the interaction of AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA and the CATIA V5 GSD Workbench and can efficiently apply update options.

Audience

This five-day training is intended for process planners and die face designers who generate process plans and active surfaces and curves using AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA. AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA is completely integrated into CATIA V5 as a new CATIA V5 workbench. Knowledge of CATIA V5 general operation and basic surfacing functions are required for this training.
