AutoForm Training Seminars:
Springback Compensation I
The evaluation of the springback behavior of sheet metal
parts through simulation is becoming more and more important.
In the first part of the training, to the trainee gets to know
all important parameters for springback simulation and learns
how actual clamping and measuring concepts are transferred into
AutoForm. The second part of the training, basing on the
requirements for a good springback simulation, explains the use
of AutoForm-Compensator — only a correctly calculated
springback will result in a good compensation. Different examples
re-enact scenarios of typical situations in the work place.
The compensation of a draw die generated in AutoForm-DieDesigner
is discussed along with the overbending of CAD data imported for
the simulation. The potential of springback simulation and springback
compensation will be realized by the user who can then optimize
their know-how in AutoForm.

This training is intended for skilled users of AutoForm-Incremental
and AutoForm-DieDesigner who begin to work in the field of springback
compensation. Process Design I and II are prerequisites for participation.
