AutoForm Training Seminars:
Simulation of Progressive Dies
This course provides the participants with in-depth exercises utilizing
AutoForm software to validate progressive die. AutoForm-OneStep
and AutoForm-Incremental will be used to develop initial blanking
concepts then validate those blanks through multi-stage forming
operations. Participants will use AutoForm-Incremental to prove
out developed trim and blanking lines, then use AutoForm-Trim to
optimize the developed cutting profiles. Concerns with progressive
die specific issues such as coil carrier behavior, expansion web
deformation, and material behavior and failures in multi-stage forming
operations.
