7th Korean UserMeeting

The Korean UserMeeting 2006 took place at the JW Marriott Hotel which provides easy access from southern provinces of Korea where most of the customers are located. More than 50 attendees joined the event to share valuable information and time with AutoForm.

The morning session began with Jan Jelonek’s, Managing Director of AutoForm Korea, welcoming speech in Korean. Participants then concentrated on a corporate overview and analysis of the current Asian market status. Hans-Werner Schroeder focused on the respective market situation.

Before breaking for lunch buffet five user presentations were made illustrating their success with AutoForm software:

Mr. Nam Gi Seol, Ssangyong Motors

Investigation on application of optimal process plan
Mr. Hyee Guan Choi, Kia Motors

Application study of AutoForm-DieDesigner
Mr. Gi Tae Roh, Kodima

After the lunch break, Bart Carleer demonstrated detailed and interesting new features that version 4.1 offers. Issues such as morphing, springback compensation, AutoForm-Sigma and AutoForm-DieAdviser caught everyone’s eyes!

A brief introduction to AutoForm future developments by Waldemar Kubli then followed. AutoForm Korea was overwhelmed at the user’s interest shown in the AutoForm-CostCalculator, with its exciting features, which are planned to be released in version 4.2. This was the last presentation of the day.

Before the official closing announcement was made, AutoForm Korea held a „lucky draw“ and five lucky persons received gift certificates for department stores. As a way of thanking all of the attendees, AutoForm gave out a small AutoForm souvenir: a cushion blanket – a blanket appears as you unzip the cushion.

All members of AutoForm Korea would like to express their deepest appreciation towards their customers for spending a day with them, special thanks to the five presenters and also to guests from individual AutoForm offices for their splendid speeches.
