5th International AutoForm UserMeeting & Conference
May 19 - 20, 2003 in Barcelona, Spain
About 150 persons from the AutoForm community participated in
the 5th International AutoForm UserMeeting & Conference.
They presented the state-of-the-art in sheet metal forming and
discussed future perspectives.
AutoForm users from 18 countries attended this 2-day event in
the beautiful and exciting city of Barcelona. The presentations
were held in English and simultaneously translated into German
and Spanish.
The first day provided an interesting overview of worldwide
activities in sheet metal forming. Eleven user presentations
by experts highlighted different aspects of the development and
optimization of the sheet metal forming process.

The second day focused on new AutoForm developments which will
be realized in the next version of AutoForm software. Twelve
presentations covered new AutoForm products and features and
discussions on visions for further developments.
The 5th International AutoForm UserMeeting & Conference
was a great success. It offered a perfect opportunity to exchange
ideas, create contacts and share common interests.
Thanks to everyone, especially the referees for their interesting
presentations. The next UserMeeting will be in Germany and all
AutoForm users are invited to join this major event in forming
technology.
