This course provides participants with in-depth training in applying AutoForm software to validate progressive die processes. The following application streams are covered and streamlined into advanced techniques / best practices for engineering and validating progressive die stamping: quick feasibility check on part geometry and initial blank development using AutoForm-OneStep; design, improvement and validation of full, multi-station progressive die operation using AutoForm-Incrementalplus; automatic trim/blank development and optimization using AutoForm-Trim. Special attention will be applied to unique progressive die challenges and concerns: coil carrier behavior, stretch web deformation, and material behavior and failures in multi-stage forming operations.
