Process Engineering I & II

AutoForm offers a special base training seminar for new users of the AutoForm software including systematic evaluation of a process plan using AutoForm-ProcessPlanner^plus, rapid parametrical tool development using AutoForm-DieDesigner^plus, the cost optimized blank definition, the simulation and evaluation of the entire forming process using AutoForm-Solver^plus and the automatic determination of the optimal trim line using AutoForm-Trim^plus.

The training is subdivided into two sessions. After an initial three-day training session Process Engineering I, the user is already able to productively use the essential basic functions. As soon as the user has gained his first experiences in the productive application of AutoForm, another two-day training session Process Engineering II follows with the main focus on 4D-Process-Layout and the consolidation of the basic functions.

During this two session training seminar, the new AutoForm users receive a comprehensive base training to use the AutoForm software in each phase of the product development process: product design – feasibility/method planning – prototype tool design – production tool design – process engineering.

Audience

This five-day course provides an introduction to the basic AutoForm software modules and is intended for die designers, tooling engineers and method planners.

Training seminars are held at AutoForm’s offices in the USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Japan and Korea. Upon request, the seminars can also be held at customer sites. Please contact your AutoForm team to schedule a session.
