AutoForm-Incrementalplus
Application Field: Line Die
AutoForm-Incrementalplus rapidly and accurately simulates and validates the entire forming process including all primary and secondary drawing operations as well as springback.
Drawing
AutoForm-Incrementalplus simulates drawing operations. The user can specify all relevant parameters for the drawing operation, such as single or double action presses, number of tools, raw material, tailored blanks, holes and relief cuts, drawbeads and spacers, constant or time-variable binder pressure, etc. The simulation carried out by AutoForm-Incrementalplus provides the user with all the results needed to optimize the tool as well as the stamping process, just as in an actual press tryout.

Trimming
Users can easily define all trimming operations, including contour trims and cutting of holes. To realistically reflect the actual process, different cutting directions can be specified for each trim or cut line. These lines are directly obtained from CAD data. In combination with AutoForm-Trim, trim contours can be automatically optimized.

Flanging
AutoForm-Incrementalplus simulates the flanging of inner and outer edges and all cam operations. Typical results include strains in the flange area, which are important for predicting wrinkles and cracks. The results also allow the user to optimize the initial contact of cam tools.

Springback
AutoForm-Incrementalplus enables users to achieve a new level of accuracy in springback simulation. Springback can be calculated after each forming or cutting operation. The latest technological achievements combined in AutoForm-Incrementalplus, such as a new material model, fine-tuning of the shell element, advanced contact handling and optimized mesh refinement, are essential for the successful calculation of springback problems.
