weba Selects AutoForm-CostCalculator as Its Software of Choice

AutoForm Engineering GmbH, the leading supplier of software solutions for the sheet metal forming industry, has succeeded in demonstrating to weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH the effectiveness of its software for tool cost calculation. The largest tooling company in Austria has signed a multi-annual license agreement for the use of AutoForm-CostCalculator. Using AutoForm technology, weba can now address the tool and material costs in a completely new manner based on part geometry.

AutoForm-CostCalculator automatically identifies the cost relevant features such as holes, flanges and undercuts.

Simulation is already a part of every order process at weba. AutoForm-CostCalculator extends weba’s comprehensive customer service with systematic and rapid cost plans. Hannes Feuerhuber, Technical Director of weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH, explains: “Using AutoForm-CostCalculator enables us to maintain our leading position in metal forming since the software is unique on the market.
