serveral international awards.
'Entrepreneur of
the Year 2002' Award
The Swiss ’Entrepreneur of the Year 2002’ award from
Ernst & Young recognizes successful entrepreneurial companies.
This prestigious award follows an in-depth evaluation and selection
process.
AutoForm won the award in the ’Start-Up’ category;
the company’s record of continuous growth and its strong focus
on customer requirements worldwide were the main selection factors.
'Automotive News
PACE Award 2004'
The Automotive News PACE Awards are given annually by Automotive
News, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Transportation Research
Center Inc., in Detroit, Michigan. These awards recognize supplier
innovation in product and process.
AutoForm was a winner of the Automotive News PACE Award in 2004.
The company was chosen for its software solution AutoForm-DieDesigner,
a major innovation that enhances quality and productivity in stamping
die design and tooling development.
Commenting about their selection of AutoForm, the PACE judges
said: “Although
simulation programs for die design and die design programs using
CAD have existing before, this software takes a new approach based
upon the tool maker´s point of view using unique algorithms.
It has a power and speed several orders of magnitude better than
anything seen before and is viewed in some tool and die shops as ‘indispensable’ and ‘the
most important software we have’.”
'MM Award 2004'
The editors of the German magazine MaschinenMarkt, specialized
for the metalworking industries, selected the fifteen most innovative
products exhibited at the EuroBLECH 2004 trade show for their
MM Awards.
AutoForm-Sigma, a new software solution that helps sheet metal
formers to develop a robust, six-sigma production process – even
during part and tooling design – won one of these prestigious
awards.
'Excellence in Productivity' Award
At the 2006 INDUSTRIE trade show in Paris, five companies received
the ’Excellence in Productivity’ award, given for
innovative products that improve user productivity. AutoForm
received the award for AutoForm-Sigma.
AutoForm-Sigma, unique on the stamping simulation market, allows
sheet metal stampers to improve their efficiency and productivity.
The software automatically carries out multiple stamping simulations,
changing design and process parameters and performing statistical
analyses, until it finds the 'robust optimum' stamping conditions.
